Gökirmak to get Outotec process equipment

Outotec's contract value is approximately €14 million (US$15.6 million) and the order has been booked in Outotec's June 2016 quarter order intake.

Outotec will deliver basic engineering and key process equipment of the concentrator as well as supervision services. Once operational, the new plant will process 2Mt/y of ore.

The equipment will be delivered in 2017.

Kalle Härkki, head of Outotec's minerals processing business unit, said: “Outotec has a comprehensive portfolio of technologies for treating various copper ores. We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to deliver our energy efficient minerals processing technologies to Acacia Maden Gökirmak copper project.”
