The company's contractor, Primero Group, is moving along with module and mechanical equipment installation, while electrical and piping work is also moving along according to plan. It has also dispatched additional personnel to the site.

"To facilitate commissioning of the next stage of the process flowsheet, completion of all construction activities in the beneficiation plant remains the focus," Northern Minerals officials said.

"The girth gear for the mill has been installed with the pinion, reducer and main drive motor to follow. The buildings and equipment for the laboratory have been delivered to site and installation is underway."

In the meantime, the East Kimberley region project is preparing for, and nearing completion of, the next phase of commissioning, including the magnetic separation, flotation and tailings for the plant. Three alternate downstream separation technologies are under review as well.

Northern Minerals owns 100% of Browns Range.
