Tango, which commissioned the mine's plant as scheduled on June 27, mobilised two 16ft (4.9m) pans with a combined capacity of 120t per hour and a newly purchased 260KVA diesel generator.

All will be used to process pan tailings and bantam material left at the site from previous mining activity.

Tango officials said the plant will be used alongside the existing mining and processing equipment at the project from partner Bluedust 7 and will be specifically focused on the tailings in order to up production capacity.

The Oena mine, according to the company, produced 95 diamonds for the period ended June 14. Weighing in at 152.63 carats, they sold for an average US$973.13/ct.
