MGX taps Hatch for US lithium plants

MGX Minerals, PurLucid have retained Hatch Engineering to help scale their lithium extraction tech

Hatch will advise the partners, provide recommendations and a strategic review on the implementation of the rapid extraction technology in large scale.

It will conduct a comprehensive review, including flow systemics, processes and other aspects to further establish scaling confidence, and also provide a high-level project engineering scope and timeline for plant buildout.

MGX and PurLucid's technology has the benefits of cost savings and quality enhancement for various brines; its applications include petrolithium, natural brine, mine and plant wastewater and more.
