The agreement, which was initially signed by Tomra and what then just Outotec in 2014, focuses on the development and deployment of ore-sorting technologies.

Using Tomra can reduce specific energy consumption by 15% and amount of water used by three to four cubic meters per tonne of ore, noted the companies.
