In the last three days, the number of individuals in isolation at the Don David Gold mines has climbed to 102, meaning it can only continue with significantly reduced activities at the mines for at least 10 days.

Through its subsidiary, Don David Gold Mexico, Gold Resources has 100% interest in six properties, including two operating properties and four exploration properties. It also includes mineral production primarily from the Arista underground mine and Aguila open pit mine, which are located at the Aguila project. These two mines supply ore to processing facilities located in Aguila project.

The company noted that operations will continue with those employees and contractors who have agreed to stay in the camp for periods longer than the usual rotation to create a bubble. Testing frequency will increase with stricter procedures governing operational activities.

"After discussions with our medical staff and an epidemiologist, we are reducing the movement of people coming to the mine site from the local communities and the region. Accordingly, we will ramp down operations starting today and will continue with significantly reduced activities at the mine," said the company.
