Otso Gold has completed its first gold pour of the restart of its Otso Gold mine in Finland.

Otso is currently processing 4,000 tonnes of ore a day, and has plans to ramp up production to 6,000 tonnes of ore per day, the company said.

Sales from the first gold dore are expected next week.

Hiring is now complete, with 140 full-time staff and 128 contractors now providing services to the mine site.

Otso is also undertaking an additional 6,000 meters of drilling to assist with mine planning work.

The mine received regulatory approval from Finnish officials in mid-October.
