Rio Tinto and Codelco plan joint Atacama copper project

Rio Tinto and Codelco have announced a partnership in Agua de la Falda SA ("ADLF") to explore and develop a copper project in Chile's Atacama Region.

This collaboration comes after Rio Tinto acquired PanAmerican Silver's 57.74% stake in ADLF. Currently, Codelco owns 42.26% of ADLF, a company initially focused on gold projects and precious minerals....
