Rio Tinto, Nippon Steel, China Baowu tackling carbon

Steel producer Nippon Steel Corp and iron ore miner Rio Tinto have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly explore, develop and demonstrate technologies to transition to a low-carbon emission steel value chain. Rio also announced an investment in a low-carbon cooperation with China Baowu.
