BluESP and subsidiary BluESP Proprietary provide software to the mining and manufacturing sectors for tasks such as processing plant optimisation, maximising revenues and reducing costs and inefficiencies.

"These improvements are achieved by collecting data from sensors, equipment and IOT [internet of things] devices across an entire site and between multiple sites. The data is stored in a real-time data warehouse from where it can be analysed and visualised," the company said.

"Enterprise operations reporting systems give management enterprise-wide visibility of their operations."

Some of BluESP's global mining customers include Sasol, Anglo-American, Glencore, Impala Platinum, South32, ArcelorMittal, First Quantum Minerals and Mount Isa Mines.

4Sight Holdings, which has focused on the telecommunications, media and property services industries, is seeking to grow its data science and decision-making solutions by acquiring industry 4.0 companies.
