Metso designed the FIT and the Foresight series of stations with reduced maintenance and increased efficiency in mind, according to a company statement.

The FIT series includes recrushing and jaw stations, with capacities that range from 200 up to 3,000t/h. The steel structures are supplied in modules that fit easily into containers for transportation. The stations can reduce delivery time by up to 25% and erection time reduction by up to 15%, according to the company.

The Foresight stations are equipped with automation technology including Metso Metrics, which pulls data from equipment and creates a digital twin in the cloud, and the firm's VisioRock particle size analyser.

"We are using our legacy and expertise to introduce these modularised crushing stations that focus on capital expenditure reduction and shorter lead times, " said Guillaume Lambert, vice president, crushing systems at Metso.
