FCI is adding to its collection of nearly a dozen companies with diverse business focuses across mining, tunnelling and civil construction. CSA provides temporary, contract-to-hire and direct placement staffing and provides Mine Safety and Health Administration training; while CDS offers rigs, equipment and services for oil and gas drilling.

FCI executive vice-president Tony Calandra said the acquisitions help the company to diversify even further and add to its already robust mining and underground energy footprint.

The company said CSA vice-president Brian Delomma will remain in his seat, as will Brent McClain as vice-president of CDS. Steve West will remain vice president of Jennchem Midwest and CSA West, and Troy Dolan, former CEO of both CSA and CDS, will serve as a consultant for FCI.
