PRESS RELEASE: RTOs are those training providers registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver vocational education and training services.

Initially, Pybar will apply to facilitate the Certificate II and III in Underground Metalliferous Mining.

It is expected to take approximately 12 months to achieve the RTO certification.

Prior to submitting its application, the safety, health, environment and training (SHET) team will review and update Pybar's current training and assessment packages to ensure they meet the national framework requirements.

"This is a really exciting step for us and offers our teams a great opportunity to advance their careers in line with the national framework," said Pybar CEO Brendan Rouse.

Once the company obtains the certification, employees who successfully complete the programme will be issued with a nationally recognised qualification.
