L&T wins Komatsu supply deal for Tata

The order includes 41 Komatsu 100t dump trucks.

The LT order includes 41 Komatsu HD785-7 100t dump trucks, three Komatsu WA900-3E0 wheel loaders, and two of Komatsu's D275A-5R 410HP crawler dozers. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

"Komatsu's superior products and L&T's seamless support paved the way for securing this prestigious order. We look forward to partnering with India's largest steel producer - Tata Steel, in their growth journey," said SN Subrahmanyan, L&T chief executive and managing director.

Tata Steel's iron ore mines at Joda, Noamundi and Khondbond in Odisha will be allocated 21 of the dump trucks and the wheel loaders and crawler dozers, while the remaining 20 dump trucks will be deployed at the West Bokaro coal mines in Jharkhand.
