Kirkland Lake Gold’s Fosterville gold mine in Victoria, Australia

PRESS RELEASE: The Fosterville gold mine, located 21km east of Bendigo in Victoria, Australia.

GR Engineering's scope of work under the contract extends to all process engineering design, supply, construction and commissioning of a paste backfill plant capable of producing 65m3/h of paste to fill stopes in the Fosterville gold mine. The scope of work also includes the design of underground reticulation piping.

The contract price is approximately A$23.9 million (US$17.3 million). Work under the contract will start immediately, with completion of the facility scheduled to occur in 2019.
