Geokret 2.0 is a smart shotcrete application with the latest laser technology

Geokret 2.0 does 3-D high-resolution scanning of the underground galleries before and after each shotcrete application. It can compare results and also highlight areas with an excess or lack of concrete, allowing users to optimise the shotcrete application.

Putzmeister has designed the intuitive and friendly Geokret app, which is integrated in the robust tablet, with consideration of the operator's daily work. In just a few clicks the customised project can be created according to the indicated thicknesses, range of colours and angles (which can be determined in advance).

In just 60 seconds, the compact and easy-to-use 3-D laser scans the gallery with high precision; it has a range of 60m and the company guarantees an error margin of <1mm.

It then sends the data to the Geokret app, where the operator will be able to see the comparative data of the scans and know the status of the real-time application, and can then use this to improve the result.

Without interrupting the normal work cycle, there are no cables or other external elements. All the information is transmitted via Wi-Fi between the laser and the Geokret app, which also allows the laser to be installed with total flexibility within the gallery to get the best visibility.

The solution doesn't end here. Once the shotcrete application is done, the data can be downloaded onto a USB or sent by Wi-Fi to the office software. This allows the user to perform a much more detailed analysis, including sections, volumes calculation, thickness and much more.
