The deal makes Ramjack a "value-added" reseller for Symboticware products and services in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and parts of Latin America.

Symboticware's products include SymBot, which collects data from sensors and stores timestamped data into an internal database, and SpeedGuard, a tool that prevents mobile equipment operators from over-speeding.

"Partnering with Ramjack extends our global reach, and delivers capabilities for advancements in Industrial IoT and AI into mining corridors where a significant positive impact on mobile asset safety, visibility and efficiency can be realised," said Kirk Petroski, chief executive of Symboticware.

Mike Jackson, president and CEO of Ramjack said: "Mines in the regions that Ramjack serves are poised and ready to take real advantage of Symboticware's vehicle sensor data telemetry and analytics solutions. We are looking forward to the opportunity to demonstrate the rapid returns that this technology can offer to both open-pit and underground mines."
