Cisneros is located 80 kilometres northeast of Medellin in the central portion of the department of Antioquia

The company said the Colombian operation produced 1,922 ounces in January, or an average of 685 tonnes daily with recoveries of 98.2%.

The total gold output for 2020 came to 20,308oz, representing a total recovery of 96.9%.

"Scheduled maintenance for one of the ball mills restricted our processing capacity during the month, consequently reducing our treatment rate and therefore gold production for January. We are now back at 100% capacity and anticipate significant growth in production this month," president and CEO Gonzalo de Losada said.

Cisneros is located 80 kilometres northeast of Medellin in the central portion of the department of Antioquia, neighbouring projects such as AngloGold's Gramalote project and Red Eagle's Pavo Real project. It started production in the first quarter of 2019.
