Northam, Heraeus extend partnership

Northam Platinum and Heraeus have extended their co-operation agreement, with Heraeus to contribute €20 million (US$22 million) to expand the capacity of Northam’s existing smelter, with the construction of a 20MW second furnace at the Zondereinde metallurgical complex in South Africa.
