Metso Outotec launches filtration range

Finland's Metso Outotec has launched a new range of filtration solutions and services that target cost of ownership, as well as capacity and residual moisture gains.

The range of 15 different filter types includes pressure filters of up to 100 bar pressure, as well as vacuum filters and polishing filters, said the company.

The Larox brand, of which Metso Outotec is the sole owner following Outotec's purchase of the Finnish company in 2009, will be reintroduced as a strategic product family name for selected filters.

"Our unique filtration solutions portfolio is based on a thorough assessment of current and future customer needs and a detailed review of related technologies. As a result, we can now offer an industry-leading option for all types of mining dewatering needs," says Jussi Venäläinen, vice president, Filters at Metso Outotec.
