The sales office, opened September 1, will help Magna meet a significant demand increase for its products and help support its growth. The company now has 14 offices around the world.
"We … will continue to make the right investments to maintain our position of a premium tyre brand," officials said.
"Our new US office has much significance for our company as well as for our customers and will certainly create even more opportunities in the near future."
In related news, Magna said it had expanded its production capacity in the Netherlands for its mining and earthmover tyres due to increased demand.
Magna's distribution warehouses in the US include locations in Los Angeles, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida; Coldwater, Ohio; and Clayton, North Carolina.
